Permalink China's economy expands 9.5% in first quarter

China's economy is still booming, with no sign of a slow down. This happens after the government tried to slow down the rate of growth. The more China grows, the more demand of oil. This means we have to get used to having high gas prices for the present and for the long term future. In fact, today Bush said he had no magic wand to decrease the price of oil, something he had criticised Clinton and Gore of just a few years ago.
