The most overused words at this time of year is the "Peace on Earth" crap.
I say it is crap, because who really means it? The one's who overuse this phrase are the ones who devour carcasses of dead animals. How dare they?
This could be resolved by using three extra words: "Peace on Earth for all Mankind"
But even this is a load of rubbish. Does the christian right really want to make peace with the Islamic fundamentalists, especially the ones who would want to cut their heads off? No, of course not. If the radicals had their way, they would nuke 'em off the planet. I've heard people call up and say to nuke Mecca - this way we eliminate all future Muslims. I say we would have a billion angry people coming at us. Interesting how each side wants to annihalate the other with weapons of mass destruction.
Its not as catchy, but everyone should be honest and use the philosophical ideal from the Bible they seem to be practicing: an eye for an eye.

"There is no creator" - the Dalai Lama. These are words of common sense, and it tells me that "spirituality" has nothing in particular to do with a belief in the supernatural. But then, those of us who grew up in the seventies watching "Kung Fu" already knew that being a vegan, atheist who follows the path of the buddha can reach enlightenment.
All kidding aside, what does a vegetarian atheist have to say? Stick around and you'll find out! Politically I'm rather liberal, but I do like to listen to staunch conservative talk show host Michael (the 'Whiner') Savage so I'll probably be mentioning him from time to time in my weblogs. So for now, how about some talk of broccoli, carrots and peas? Recipe's anyone??

"As mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality."
