Let me add, that Apple also was the first to add a 3.5 floppy drive to a PC. It was also the first computer company to kill the floppy drive - after 1998 all Macs came without one. Hmmm, let me see what else Apple did first as a PC company...
Well, we all know they were the first PC company to have a graphical user interface and a mouse, but I believe they were the first to build a PC that was networkable (the original Mac). The first to make a sound card standard PC equipment (original Mac in 1984). The first to support dual monitors (1988). The first PC to have ethernet as standard issue (1986?), in 1988 the Mac was the first PC to have virtual memory (via a third party company I used to work for called Connectix) a couple years later Apple implemented their own version into the OS. The first PC to have WIFI, or 802.11b (beating Dell by about 14 months). First speech technology. First Plug and Play. First Laserwriter. First CD ROM. First foreign language support. First to design a 'pocket pc' (the Newton). First FireWire. First to have a legit commercial music store to download songs. The first PC company to achieve number 3 ranking for the worlds fastest supercomputer (happened this year using 1000 Macs). And Intel's USB was not accepted until Apple's iMac and other machines embraced it in 97.
Well, thats all I could come up with off the top of my head. Feel free to add to the list...

"There is no creator" - the Dalai Lama. These are words of common sense, and it tells me that "spirituality" has nothing in particular to do with a belief in the supernatural. But then, those of us who grew up in the seventies watching "Kung Fu" already knew that being a vegan, atheist who follows the path of the buddha can reach enlightenment.
All kidding aside, what does a vegetarian atheist have to say? Stick around and you'll find out! Politically I'm rather liberal, but I do like to listen to staunch conservative talk show host Michael (the 'Whiner') Savage so I'll probably be mentioning him from time to time in my weblogs. So for now, how about some talk of broccoli, carrots and peas? Recipe's anyone??

"As mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality."
