Permalink E-mail scam using US election

Spammers from out of the Czech Republic are fooling American voters "to vote for democracy" by dialing a 900 number that will cost them $1.99.

The mail adds that the calls will cost $1.99, saying this is "a little price to pay for a better democracy".

People around the world somehow think Americans can be easily fooled. I wonder what gave them that idea?
