Permalink Vegetarians Against Bush

Bush gets snubbed in hometown!
George W. Bush gets snubbed by his hometown newspaper. Four years ago, it endosed his candidacy for President, but this time, they have endorsed John Kerry!

What an embarrassment.

  Vegetarians Against Bush

Bush has disrespected the environment

A new campaign started today, called "Vegetarians Against Bush".
George W. Bush has had total disregard for sea mammals and many land mammals for that matter. Next year, the US intends to go whaling again, and he wanted 'dolphin safe tuna' to include tuna caught with the deaths of thousands of dolphin.

Site owners who wish to join it, will have this picture on their homepage.

Veggidude,

A few questions:
1) How in the world did you find Bluegrass for Bush so quickly?
2) Why comment there? I mean, they hadn't even posted anything of substance yet. Were you trying to discourage them from the get-go or what?

Just a Dem KY blogger curious about hows and whys,
ben

Sometimes I go to http://blogger.com/changes10.g

to look at what's new. They just happen to be there at that time, and so I sent a friendly hello, plus I thought it would be neat for them to have their first poster be one of the 'enemy'.

Certainly innocent animals who are just trying to live their lives in their natural environments deserve much more respect than a destructive, war-bent man who happens to be elected to public office.

So here I was all set to vote for Kerry and then he decides to pander to right-wing, macho, gun-toting, yahoos, so he goes out and shoots a goose. Now I don't want to vote for anyone! And Nader's not on the ballot in my state!

No one ever said Kerry was perfect.

Not even the right wingers think Bush is perfect for them either.

But Bush wants to put profits ahead of whales and dolphins, and the only way to stop this is to get him out of office, and that means voting for Kerry.

Kerry is also for Stem Cell research. For too long, scientists have done BAD SCIENCE by using animal models to try to find cures for Human beings. You simply can't extrapolate a cure for a rat to a cure to a human being. If that was the case, we would have two dozen cures by now. A vote for Stem Cell research means finding REAL CURES for people, while saving possibly millions of animals from vivisection.

This is why Vegetarians are for Kerry!

Its time to get a new Party started Go ahead and vote for the "better then nothing party" democrats or the "Anthing but Bush Party" (same) But look into alternatives like the party I am starting http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NewParty Also dont forget to look at alternative voting intiatives like Aproval voting where you can vote for a major party and a minor party so you can have a voice and not waste your vote All the info is on my site :)

I am an ovo-lacto vegetarian (on my way to veganism, thank you very much), and I have registered both my parents to vote (Kerry) this year. I'm only 15, and sadly can't vote against this outrageous administration. Read my blog http://ejectpresidentselectbush04.blogspot.com. I just made it after reading this page. GO KERRY (but Nader is even more awesome)!
