Okay, this comes a day early, but my shareware title of the week goes to OSXplanet. This is a free program that puts the Earth (or any other major planet in our solar system) onto the desktop. You can see the clouds, which are refreshed every 3.5 hours. You can chart all the earthquakes as they happen (refresh every 20 mins). You can instantly see what part of Earth is night time and what parts are getting sunlight. You can also track Storms (useful for Floridians), Volcano's and Satellites orbiting the world.
The impressive part, is that it is written by 15 year old Gabriel Otte. It accepts donations, so I will PayPal something.
Here is a shot of my desktop taken at 10:25 PM (PDT): As you can see, it is almost dawn in the UK.
I can see on my map that Hurricane Ivan is heading toward Jamaica, and close by is a 6.1 earthquake, within about 600 miles of the storms present location. Very cool.

"There is no creator" - the Dalai Lama. These are words of common sense, and it tells me that "spirituality" has nothing in particular to do with a belief in the supernatural. But then, those of us who grew up in the seventies watching "Kung Fu" already knew that being a vegan, atheist who follows the path of the buddha can reach enlightenment.
All kidding aside, what does a vegetarian atheist have to say? Stick around and you'll find out! Politically I'm rather liberal, but I do like to listen to staunch conservative talk show host Michael (the 'Whiner') Savage so I'll probably be mentioning him from time to time in my weblogs. So for now, how about some talk of broccoli, carrots and peas? Recipe's anyone??

"As mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality."
