Sneak Preview: MAC dojang 2.0 The past eight days I have been coding the next version of the MAC dojang. Some of these days have been 12 hours or more non-stop inside the IDE of REALbasic. It has been 3 years since I've done anything with this program. Since that time, the Mac OS has had four major upgrades. I am now implementing a new user interface to reflect the maturity of Mac OS X (i.e. Panther elements such as Metal look, window drawers and sheet windows, etc) and I'm cleaning up the code a lot, and making it significantly better and smarter overall. For instance, selecting a button in the main window will be greyed out regardless if you select it in the menu bar, contextual menu or by the button itself. I know, it sounds trivial, but figuring it out and then implementing the code can take a whole day!
I'm actually developing 2.0 in mind (commercial package on CD ROM with much more expanded content), but the interim version 1.5 will be released as shareware (probably ask $5). Most of the video will be updated for the shareware version but this sneak preview shows the existing black and white video's I made in 1994 with a QuickCam.

"There is no creator" - the Dalai Lama. These are words of common sense, and it tells me that "spirituality" has nothing in particular to do with a belief in the supernatural. But then, those of us who grew up in the seventies watching "Kung Fu" already knew that being a vegan, atheist who follows the path of the buddha can reach enlightenment.
All kidding aside, what does a vegetarian atheist have to say? Stick around and you'll find out! Politically I'm rather liberal, but I do like to listen to staunch conservative talk show host Michael (the 'Whiner') Savage so I'll probably be mentioning him from time to time in my weblogs. So for now, how about some talk of broccoli, carrots and peas? Recipe's anyone??

"As mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality."
