Don't know how many of you have a bluetooth phone, but I have a Sony Ericcson T68i, which is pretty ancient by cell phone standards these days. With Salling Clicker (a piece of shareware) my phone and my computer can communicate to make my life a little easier...
Here is what happens when I get a phone call:
My PowerBook screen dims, and displays the name of the caller
The PowerBook volume goes mute
iTunes (if playing) gets paused
DVD player (if playing) gets paused
my iChat status changes to reflect my unavailability
Here is what happens when I go away:
The PowerBook puts on the screensaver (screen lock)
The PowerBook volume goes mute
my iChat status changes to reflect my unavailability
I can also have it activate any other applescript event of my choosing. Pretty nifty!
