The trip is over
Got back yesterday, it's nice to be back home.

This picture was taken a week ago, on the Great Wall. They should rename it the Great Stairmaster from Hell. Some steps were eight inches high while others were two feet or more. They varied widely and for no apparent reason. At some points, it was incredibly steep, almost like rock climbing. It was very hot that day...

Being vegetarian is China is not an easy proposition. How sad, as the diet has been part of buddhist traditional life for thousands of years. I was only there for ten days, but I did travel a lot in that time. We had a 3 hours coach trip and encountered many parks, lakes, canals and rivers. Not once did I see a duck. Isn't that strange?

There was a duck on the dinner table every night though.
